Safety

Personal safety is a major area of focus for South Africans.  Surprisingly we find this is common in several other countries all over the globe. South Africans certainly put a lot of thought and effort into matters of safety and security, not for themselves only, but for you as our values guests too!

All you need to do is use your common- sense.  Surprisingly, we find this is not as common as we thought it would be.  To keep yourself and your belongings safe in this part of the world, a few easy common-sense strategies needs to be applied.  Treat your belongings with the same vigilance and care as you would travelling anywhere else in the world. If complete strangers offer you help, refuse politely, and rather ask people you know. Be cautious about what you leave exposed on your motorcycle. Remember that most stuff going missing is because people forget it, i.e. leave it behind and then it goes missing.  Get into a daily routine to “sweep” your room when checking out, check behind you when leaving a restaurant or place you visited.   Always be vigilant!
