Each participant who rents a motorcycle must sign a rental contract for the motorcycle allocated to him/her as booked prior to the tour. Part of the rental procedure is the payment of a refundable security deposit. If the motorcycle is returned to the supplier without any damage or other problem, his/her deposit will be released and refunded in full. If there is minor damage and repair work is needed, a quotation will be prepared and the security deposit (or part of it) will be used to cover the cost of repair. If the damage is severe and of such a nature that an insurance claim needs to be made, then the entire security deposit will be forfeited as part of the standard insurance excess payment that the rider must make.
