Fuel is for your own account and not included in our tour packages, unless otherwise arranged. This way you pay for the way you ride. The petrol price in SA is regulated and vary from the coastal regions to the inland regions. In South Africa the fuel price is adjusted on the first Wednesday of each month. Visa and Mastercard are accepted at most of the bigger fuel stations. In some rural towns one might find that they do not accept certain cards. Always have some cash available for fuel in case you can’t use your card. It is also worthwhile to note that petrol attendants will assist you when filling up due to the fact that no self-service filling station facilities are available in SA.
