If on a self-guided tour or enjoying a rental only, in the case of a breakdown you immediately need to call the rental company to ask for assistance. No work of any nature is to be done to any rental motorcycle without prior permission from the rental company. This is due to the motorcycles still covered by the manufacturer’s warrantee. If a breakdown occurs due to a mechanical breakdown a replacement motorcycle will be made available at the renter’s earliest convenience. If a breakdown happens due to rider negligence a new rental motorcycle will be made available, but this will be treated as a new rental which will bring about a new contract and extra costs and security deposit.
